Romper. Groundbreaking.

Rompers are perfect if you don't feel like getting dressed. In the last couple of years we have been seeing them everywhere, but the first one was created a long time ago.
It was invented in Florence by the Futurist sculptor and painter Ernesto Michahelles, known as Thayaht, in 1918 following the prototype by Carlo Carrà.

Le tute sono perfette se non vi va di vestirvi. Negli ultimi due anni le abbiamo viste dappertutto, ma la prima fu creata molto tempo fa.

The name "tuta" - "romper" in Italian - comes from its T shape. It had four pockets, was button fastening, and worn with a belt. This garment was created for everyday life and work. Indeed it was simple, functional, hygienic, and cheap.

Il nome "tuta" viene dalla sua forma a T. Aveva quattro tasche, si chiudeva con dei bottoni e veniva indossata con una cintura. Questo capo fu creato per la vita quotidiana e per il lavoro. Infatti era semplice, funzionale, igienica ed economica.

Matteo

Normally I don't talk about my personal life, but I wanted to dedicate a label to inspiring people because beauty is one the biggest passions of mine. This one is about my boyfriend, the most inspiring person.
When I first talked to him, I couldn't understand why a beautiful person like Matteo was so insecure. Exactly four years ago, I promised myself I would have helped him to bloom.
The shy boy I met became a strong man who looks himself in the mirror, smiles, and says "I'm proud of the person I've become. I would have never made it without you".
He taught me many things, here are the ones which motivates me the most.
He taught me that being influenced by someone is not a bad thing if you let the right ones improve you.
Even if you don't think exterior beauty is the most important thing in life, taking care of yours can radically change the way you see yourself.
Even if you don't have much self-esteem, you can - and have to - fight to gain some by being the best version of yourself.
You must always challenge yourself.
Trying to be a better person than the one you were yesterday is fundamental.
Failing is not the end of the world, but you must never stop trying to achieve your goals.
Sometimes you have to pay a high price to your happiness.
When you love someone, you must make that person feel special every single day.
You must never stop motivating and believing in your loved ones even if they have stopped believing in themselves.
It doesn't matter how much you love someone, there will always be something about him/her you can't stand.
Love isn't always rainbows and butterflies, but hard times can make a couple even stronger than before.
He is the only role model I have and I am so proud of being such an important part of his life.

Di solito non parlo della mia vita privata, ma volevo dedicare un'etichetta alle persone che mi ispirano perché la bellezza è una delle mie più grandi passioni. Questo è sul mio ragazzo, la persona che mi ispira di più.
Quando ci ho parlato per la prima volta, non riuscivo a capire perché una bella persona come Matteo fosse così insicura. Esattamente quattro anni fa, ho promesso a me stessa che lo avrei aiutato a sbocciare.
Il ragazzo timido che ho conosciuto è diventato un uomo forte che si guarda allo specchio, sorride e dice "Sono fiero della persona che sono diventato. Non ce l'avrei mai fatta senza di te".
Mi ha insegnato molte cose, ecco quelle che mi motivano di più.
Mi ha insegnato che essere influenzati da qualcuno non è una brutta cosa se permetti alle persone giuste di migliorarti.
Anche se non pensi che la bellezza esteriore sia la cosa più importante nella vita, prendersi cura della tua puù cambiare radicalmente il modo in cui vedi te stesso.
Anche se non hai molta autostima, puoi (e devi) combattere per acquistarne un po' essendo la versione migliore di te stesso.
Devi sempre metterti alla prova.
Essere una persona migliore di quella che eri ieri è fondamentale.
Fallire non è la fine del mondo, ma non devi mai smettere di provare per raggiungere i tuoi obiettivi.
A volte devi pagare un prezzo alto per essere felice.
Non devi mai smettere di motivare e credere in chi ami anche se hanno smesso di credere in loro stessi.
Non conta quanto ami qualcuno, ci sarà sempre qualcosa di loro che non riuscirai a sopportare.
L'amore non è sempre rose e fiori, ma i periodi difficili possono rendere una coppia anche più forte di prima.
È l'unico modello che ho e sono molto fiera di essere una parte così importante della sua vita.

Nobody's perfect

I love looking at models Instagram profiles. Most of them share really nice pictures. The last profile I've found is the Candice Swanepoel's, my favourite VS angel. She shares pictures of new campaigns, events, puppies, friends and so on as her colleagues, but these two caught my attention. I mean, look what she wrote.

Adoro guardare i profili Instagram delle modelle. La maggior parte di loro condivide delle foto molto belle. L'ultimo profilo che ho trovato è quello di Candice Swanepoel, il mio angelo preferito di Victoria's Secret. Condivide foto di nuove campagne, eventi, cuccioli, amici e così via come le sue colleghe, ma queste due hanno catturato la mia attenzione. Voglio dire, guardate cos'ha scritto.

For the first time it's not about a beautiful model who only posts pictures of herself wearing amazing gowns, makeup and hair trying to be impeccable at all costs. This time Candice is putting the attention on her own flaws. I appreciate her humility.

Per la prima volta non si tratta di una modella bellissima che posta solo sue foto in cui indossa abiti, trucco e capelli stupendi cercando di essere impeccabile a tutti i costi. Questa volta Candice punta l'attenzione sui suoi difetti. Apprezzo la sua umiltà.

Nail reconstruction

When I first read "nail reconstruction" on a salon window a few years ago, I thought it was a treatment for those who can't stop biting their nails and need to make them grow again. I was wrong.
Soon I started seeing horrible, thick, and ultra decorated nails almost everywhere. I rarely see nice ones.
When it comes to manicure, groomed nails with a nice nail polish on top is enough for me, even though nail art can be cute too. Here are some ideas.

Quando ho letto per la prima volta "ricostruzione unghie" sulla vetrina di un salone qualche anno fa, ho pensavo che fosse un trattamento per quelle che non riescono a smettere di mangiarsi le unghie e hanno bisogno di farle ricrescere. Mi sbagliavo.
Presto ho iniziato a vedere unghie orribili, spesse e ultra decorate quasi dappertutto. Raramente ne vedo di carine.
Quando si tratta di manicure, delle unghie curate con un bello smalto sopra per me bastano, anche se può essere carina anche una nail art. Ecco alcune idee.
