"Coco Before Chanel" is a biographical film about the French designer Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Just a suggestion. Watch the trailer below instead of reading the plot on Wikipedia. 

I won't write the plot, the only thing I can say about this film is... stunning. Everything is perfect. This film offers a really lucid and unsentimental view of her life although it was not all rainbows and butterflies at all. Normally I don't watch the same movie over ad over, but yesterday I watched this for the fourth time and it never ceases to amaze me. In my opinion, before studying designers' career, you must know their story. Sometimes it can tell you a lot about their creations. If you don't know why she changed the world of fashion, read something about it before watching this masterpiece. During the movie the camera focuses on the innovations she brought, but you might not pick out all of them. Don't miss it.


"Coco Avant Chanel" è un film biografico sulla stilista francese Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Solo un consiglio: guardate il trailer qui sotto invece di leggere la trama su Wikipedia. Non scriverò la trama, l'unica cosa che posso dire di questo film è... favoloso. Tutto è perfetto. Questo film offre una visione molto lucida e non sentimentale della sua vita benché non fu assolutamente tutta rose e fiori. Normalmente non guardo lo stesso film ancora e ancora, ma ieri ho guardato questo per la quarta volta e non smette mai di sorprendermi. Secondo me, prima di studiare la carriera degli stilisti, devi conoscere la loro storia. A volte può dirla lunga sulle loro creazioni. Se non sapete perché lei cambiò il mondo della moda, leggete qualcosa in merito prima di guardare questo capolavoro. Durante il film la telecamera si concentra sulle innovazioni che portò, ma potreste non coglierle tutte. Non perdetevelo.
